You grant CookNotes a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the services you choose to use, including syncing, recipe import, translation, and related app features.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload or use content with CookNotes.
5. Paid features and purchases
Some CookNotes features may require a purchase, subscription, or credit balance. Prices, billing terms, and feature availability may change over time.
If you purchase through Apple or another platform provider, that provider may have additional terms, billing rules, and refund processes that apply to your purchase.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank charges, or platform fees associated with your purchase.
6. AI, import, translation, and third-party features
CookNotes may offer recipe import, translation, image search, weekly offers, and other features that rely on third-party services.
When you choose to use those features, we may need to send relevant content such as recipe text, images, URLs, search queries, or retailer preferences to third-party providers so the feature can work.
Third-party services may change, become unavailable, or have their own terms and policies. CookNotes is not responsible for third-party services beyond what applicable law requires.
7. Intellectual property
CookNotes, including its app, website, branding, software, design, and service content other than user content, is owned by CookNotes or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly allowed by these terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from CookNotes or any part of it.
8. Service availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of CookNotes at any time, including features, pricing, integrations, and availability.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that CookNotes will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Termination
You may stop using CookNotes at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to CookNotes if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created risk for the service or others, or if we need to do so for legal, security, or operational reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CookNotes and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenues, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of CookNotes.
